Estimator – Roofing

Building Transformation are a niche building façade company based in Bedford, working predominantly in the Southeast. We are looking for a commercially minded Estimator with experience in roofing. Do you have a track record of delivering accurate proposals and growing client accounts by building strong relationships?
This role is key to helping to drive the success of our roofing division and is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in a fast-growing, ambitious company.

Your Role at a Glance:
Estimating & Costing – Develop accurate costings for roofing and specialist works projects.
Surveys & Scope Development – Conduct site surveys to create specifications and proposals.
Pipeline & Sales Management – Track conversions, sales trends, and commercial performance.
Client Engagement – Build strong relationships, attend meetings, and deliver compelling presentations.
Supply Chain Coordination – Work with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the best solutions.
Market Insights – Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors to maximise opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of the external building envelope, roofing systems, and repair specifications.
Problem Solver – Ability to assess defects and develop effective solutions.
Commercial Acumen – Experience with estimating, tendering, and pipeline management.
Software Savvy – Comfortable using sales and project management tools and databases.
Self-Motivated – A proactive, ambitious, and adaptable team player.
