Milk Education is seeking a passionate, motivated, and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a partner nursery in Liverpool (L9). This role is to start after Easter.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting young children’s learning and development, ensuring they receive the best possible start to their educational journey.
Qualifications are not essential however, experience with EYFS/KS1 aged children is a must.
Early Years Teaching Assistant roles & responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities.
* Support children with SEN within the classroom.
* Assist with the planning and preparation of resources and activities tailored to the EYFS curriculum.
* Provide individual or small group support to children with their learning, promoting active participation and building confidence.
* Deliver small group Phonics interventions
* Support children with their personal and social development, including encouraging good behaviour and positive interactions.
* Observe and record children’s progress, working closely with the teacher to identify areas for development.
* Support children with SEN, sometimes on a 1:1 basis
* Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
