What skills and experience we're looking for
Monks Orchard Primary is a welcoming and inclusive primary school dedicated to creating a positive and nurturing environment for all our children. We’re looking for a compassionate and patient Dinner Supervisor to join our team, providing essential support to children during lunchtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and assist children in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during the lunchtime period.
• Provide direct support to children with SEN to help them feel comfortable, safe, and included.
• Encourage positive social interactions and ensure all children are following school guidelines for respectful and kind behaviour.
• Assist with the setup and tidying of the dining area as needed.
• Respond promptly to any incidents or first aid needs, reporting to staff as necessary.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment in line with school policies and safeguarding procedures
We’re seeking someone who is caring, observant, and able to support children with varied needs in a positive and calm manner. The ideal candidate will have:
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with children and staff.
• A patient, approachable, and responsible attitude.
