Job Title: HR & Payroll Coordinator
Department: HR Shared Services
Location: Hinckley Service Centre
Reports To: Regional Team Manager
Salary: £26,500 - £29,000
Job Purpose: We are looking for a skilled HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our shared service team. This role involves managing HR and Time & Attendance functions, ensuring accurate payments, data maintenance, and advising on HR policies.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Monitor and control overtime, absence, and annual leave
2. Calculate and control sickness absence payments
3. Assist in onboarding new hires and managing leaver payments
4. Process payroll data changes and verify payroll runs
5. Maintain employee data security and respond to data requests
6. Provide backup support and handle DSARS
7. Produce labour cost reports and payroll reports
8. Offer employee relations advice and collaborate with the shared service team
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1. High visual accuracy and good communication skills
2. Organizational skills and technical aptitude with HRIS systems
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
4. Numeracy skills and basic payroll knowledge
Desirable Requirements:
1. Knowledge of Payroll and Personnel procedures
2. Familiarity with Health & Safety and Security procedures
3. Strong HR knowledge and working experience with ProMark, Workday, and Service Now

Key Working Relationships: Close collaboration with on-site Management Team, central payroll team, and other internal and external teams.
Additional Information: This role requires autonomy and may involve covering multiple sites. CIPD Level 3 Apprenticeship will be provided. Other ad hoc duties include HR tasks and managing NI Jobs portal.
