About the Company
A cutting-edge Series A, Fintech (Transfer Pricing) SaaS company revolutionising how multinational enterprises manage their tax and compliance workflows. Their platform leverages automation, AI, and advanced analytics to help tax professionals streamline and optimise their transfer pricing strategies while ensuring compliance with global regulations. As they continue their rapid growth, they are looking for an experienced Account Director to join a new team, reporting directly to the CRO, driving long-term value for their customers.
The Role:
As an Account Director, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with over 100 existing enterprise customers. Your primary focus will be on farming, relationship-building, and expansion, ensuring that their clients achieve maximum value from the platform. You will work closely with Sales and Customer Success to drive renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities while guiding customers through long, consultative sales cycles. This role requires a deep technical understanding of complex products, a strategic mindset, and an inquisitive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and grow a portfolio of 100+ enterprise customers, developing deep, long-term relationships.
* Drive customer expansion by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling their solutions.
* Lead strategic account planning, ensuring customer engagement, adoption, and retention.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to Heads of Tax, CFOs, and other key stakeholders, helping them optimise their transfer pricing strategies.
* Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to align on customer needs and revenue growth strategies.
* Navigate and manage long, complex sales cycles, ensuring seamless contract renewals and business expansion.
* Provide technical expertise on transfer pricing processes, tax regulations, and the platforms capabilities.
* Identify churn risks and implement proactive retention strategies.
* Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer insights, contributing to product development and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* 6+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
* Must have a background in Tax, Transfer Pricing, or Financial Compliance, ideally with prior experience in a Big 4 firm.
* Experience working in a SaaS start-up or scale-up environment.
* Proven track record of managing and growing existing customer relationships (farming over hunting).
* Expertise in navigating longer sales cycles and consultative selling to enterprise finance and tax professionals.
* Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex software solutions.
* Analytical, curious, and strategic thinker
* Experience working with CS tools (Gainsight, Salesforce, ChurnZero, etc.).
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.
