We are seeking a team-oriented Sales Director to join our sales team to work on some of the industry's most demanding and complex energy infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
1. Identify new business opportunities through customer, competitor, and market understanding. Build and grow sales pipeline.
2. Customer relationship - know our customers and build long-term relationships. Close dialogue with customers to ensure good understanding of customers' projects in their pipeline.
3. Manage and deliver sales projects, sales process, deal review, and tender responses internally and externally all the way from origination to close.
4. Negotiation of projects to contract completion.
5. Ensure KPI's for order intake, revenue, margins and customer satisfaction are met.
6. Know, navigate, and succeed in the market. Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
7. Organise, coach and oversee cross-functional deals teams through the team selling concept.
Qualifications:
1. Background of minimum 7 years of similar experience in the energy industry, machinery, construction or related environment, large infrastructure projects or large manufactured products.
2. Preferably, Master's degree in engineering or business.
3. Solid sales proven history.
4. Solid drive and business insight.
5. Good negotiation skills and possess the ability to create a win-win situation.
6. Ability to build up relationships with customers.
7. Collaboration and sharing of resources to the benefit of the entity. Experience from working in a matrix set-up would be a valuable asset.
8. Curious and inspired by challenges.
9. Proactive and service-minded.
10. Advanced communication skills.
Competencies: The ideal candidate will be an experienced executive with proven sales and business experience, ideally gained in a business of similar complexity covering multiple locations in the energy sector.
