About The Role
Please note that this is a full-time role working night shifts only - 44 hours per week. Full flexibility is required.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One working on our night shift, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
This means planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence.
You will get to know residents and their families, helping to deliver personalized care plans.
Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care and influencing the team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount.
Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication.
A key responsibility is to maintain accurate records and build strong team relationships.
