As a Registered Children’s Home Manager you’ll….
* Lead, motivate and empower the staff team to deliver highquality care for 6 young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
* Delivering care that is focussed on obtaining the best outcomes of each child / young person within the home.
* Assessment and evaluation of new referrals and managing a smooth transition into the home
* Ensuring that Ofsted standards are being met
* Management of the home’s budget and expenditure
* Responsible for Safeguarding and Child protection
* Develop quality assurance systems
* Deliver effective leadership to the staff team, that promotes a positive culture of open practise
* Ensuring the staff rota is effective
What we’re looking for;
* It is ABSOLUTLEY ESSENTIAL that you have experience of being a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager of a regulated Children’s Home previously.
* At least 2 years management experience in a children’s residential setting, within the last 5 years.
* QCF level 5 or equivalent, or be willingness to complete this within 1st year of employment
* Passion and drive to support young people to be the very best they can be
