Training Application - PGA Trainee/Assistant position at Kingsknowe Golf Club
We have a vacancy to join the team at Munros Golf @ Kingsknowe Golf Club. The position we are looking to fill is for a PGA Assistant/Assistant Golf Coach. Kingsknowe Golf Club is a private parkland members course established in 1908, situated to the west of Edinburgh.
The role will include working as part of a team in a busy retail facility, member and visitor services, golf coaching, Ladies and Gents golf academy, Junior academy, and custom fitting for the leading major golf brands. The Golf retail facility prides itself on offering excellent customer services to all members and visitors, and the applicant would need to be able to continue and further enhance this. Full training, competitive salary, and potential to earn additional coaching income is part of the competitive package.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivering excellent customer service to members and visitors in the shop and around the club.
2. An active role in the day-to-day running of the shop, including retail and sales.
3. Providing lessons and coaching sessions to a busy membership and visitors.
4. Supporting club events and assisting with golf operations as required.
5. Continue in training and development of your PGA professional career.
Requirements:
1. PGA qualified, Registered PGA Trainee or suitable applicant for the PGA training program.
2. A passion for golf, with a strong knowledge of the game.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
5. Driver’s license and own transport.
