At TTC Group, we are the leading provider of road safety education. Our Driver Risk Management division is a fast-growing business, offering an innovative range of driver training and risk management solutions to small and large organizations throughout the UK, including blue-chip businesses.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing sales team on a full-time, permanent basis in our commercial division, tasked with driving and delivering our growth strategy. Reporting to our Group Sales Director, your key focus will be to secure new customers, mainly from markets involving organizations with large fleets of vehicles or driver numbers, where our compliance and analytics solutions are used to develop bespoke driver training curricula.
The role:
* Drive the growth strategy by building relationships that support sales growth, mainly through acquiring new customers in target sectors.
* Build a sales pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities capable of exceeding sales targets.
* Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of TTC’s products, solutions, and value propositions, and use this knowledge to identify and match customer needs with TTC solutions.
* Professionally demonstrate a deep understanding of these solutions and communicate their benefits effectively to customer challenges.
* Exhibit exceptional commercial acumen through writing business proposals, reviewing contracts, and negotiating with customers, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* Introduce TTC thought leadership into prospective clients to shape and influence solution development.
* Collaborate with and lead colleagues as part of customer or bid pursuit teams, supporting strategic bids or colleagues.
* Research business opportunities and viable income streams.
* Follow industry trends locally and internationally.
* Report on successes and areas needing improvement.
About you:
* An astute networker capable of building deep relationships across various industry sectors.
* Continuously develop strategic relationships with new customers, with a proactive focus on cross-selling and up-selling TTC solutions.
* Develop stronger relationships within customer organizations, including up to the C-suite level, especially as they influence company culture towards risk and compliance.
* Proactively prospect for new customer engagement to maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
* Utilize industry and customer experience to explore additional customer segments and solutions that can accelerate growth.
* A big-picture thinker, inquisitive, eager to understand customer strategies and how TTC can offer unique value.
* Highly commercially astute, demonstrating financial and business acumen appropriate for major UK organizations.
