Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for client satisfaction to join a rapidly growing company. You will play a key part in supporting our valued corporate partners who sponsor some of the countries leading running events. As a Corporate Account Executive you will be the key link between our company and our corporate sponsors. Your role will be to ensure the corporates receive exceptional service and maximise their return on investment. You will be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients, identifying new sponsorship opportunities and working closely with the marketing team and event organisers to ensure all deliverables are managed to a high standard to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships. This role will require weekend work when partners are attending events, these will usually require a 6am start and will be required to cover attendance from all accounts managers accounts.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, possess excellent communication skills and have fantastic attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Maintain and nurture strong relationships with current sponsors, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
* Event coordination: Collaborate with event organisers to bring the corporates ideas to life and ensure a seamless execution during events.
* Market research: stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities in the running event space for sponsors.
* Attend South based events and ensure client needs are met.
Personal Specification:
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in customer service, an interest in sport events, and be a fast learner. They will work well as part of a team, as well as working alone using their initiative. They will have strong organisational and people skills, attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
