Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in Press and Paint experience?
As part of this small team, you will use your planning and organisational skills to ensure quality, efficiency, improvement of manufacturing processes in a cost effective way. You will support with the operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The role as a Manufacturing Engineer:
Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Evaluate and improve production workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of products.
Monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure peak performance and minimize downtime.
Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the manufacturing process.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
Prepare and maintain documentation, including work instructions, process maps, and equipment manuals.
Promote and enforce health and safety standards within the production environment.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects
To be successful in this Manufacturing Engineer's role you will need:
Detail-conscious with a flexible approach.
Ability to take ownership of tasks through to completion.
A good understanding of sheet metal fabrication machinery and production or experience in this environment.
Strong Knowledge of manufacturing process, equipment and quality control.
Ability to report back to senior management
Able to plan and prioritise own workload
Communicate regularly and effectively with production
A good understanding of sheet metal fabrication machinery and production
Sheet metal Punch/ fold machine experience
The package on offer in this Manufacturing Engineers role:
Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm
Early finish on a Friday 7am – 1pm
Basic salary of £40,000
Paid call outs, pension & holiday.
Discretionary Company Sick Pay, following 6 months service.
