Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, assisting with the shipping and receiving of parts, and ensuring that all stock levels are maintained efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
Responsibilities
Manage stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
Assist in the picking and packing of parts for orders.
Load and unload deliveries, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to build and organise parts for shipping.
Conduct regular checks on stock to identify any discrepancies or issues.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts availability and specifications.
Skills
Knowledge of cars to understand parts functionality and compatibility.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
Experience with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
Familiarity with picking and packing procedures to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment.
