Job Advert Role Description
We are currently looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to lead our Occupational Therapy team and work with patients on our private and NHS Eating Disorders unit. Reporting to the Specialist Services Lead, the successful candidate will work within one of our CAMHS wards providing occupational therapy where clinically indicated for our patients.
The successful candidate will manage patients using evidence-based and patient-centric principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions. They will provide patients with the confidence, functional skills, and coping strategies required for independent living. The role holder would maintain and develop relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that clinical practice is in line with Priory Policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards.
Essential criteria:
* Accredited Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC registration in place
* Experience of working within a MDT setting
* Knowledge and understanding of CPAs
* Ability to deliver ADL assessments
* A high standard of report writing
