Digital Operations Support Engineer
Anson McCade is partnering with a leading consultancy to appoint a Digital Operations Support Engineer.
This role sits within a fast-growing team, ensuring bugs are analysed and fixed, identifying and implementing features for continuous improvement of applications.
Working collaboratively, the Digital Operations Support Engineer will ensure key stakeholders can perform essential duties on optimised systems, reducing problems and automating processes while improving service stability.
Essential Experience:
* Proven experience with Java 8+
* Skilled in conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective troubleshooting solutions
* Experienced in identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements by transitioning manual processes to automated systems
* Proficient in using monitoring tools, particularly Grafana and Kibana
* Strong technical expertise across a diverse technology stack, including MVC, JDBC, and RESTful architecture
* Build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
* Various technologies and libraries within the Java ecosystem
* Skilled in using essential tools and languages, including SQL, Unix, CLI tools, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, HTML, and CSS
* Experience with both external and embedded databases, including relational and NoSQL databases
* Hands-on experience working with production and non-production service instances
* Expertise in transitioning services from project/development stages into live operational support
* Strong ability to assess risks, manage pressure, and maintain clear communication with clients and the Digital Operations team
