Our client is a leading provider of intelligent locker systems, offering innovative solutions for asset management, personal item storage, and contactless drop-off and collection. They have multiple major well-known clients across different industries.
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, industry knowledge, and current expertise.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
3. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
4. Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company goals.
5. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on their products and services to customers via Teams and in person.
6. Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring absolute customer satisfaction.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with company objectives and to develop the range of products to meet evolving customer needs.
8. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to inform decision-making whilst offering detailed weekly reports to the Managing Director.
9. Represent the business at industry events and conferences.
Experience Required:
1. Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role.
2. Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
3. Technical sales experience and knowledge.
4. Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of success in business development.
5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
7. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
