Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Charge Nurse based at Woodland View, Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a motivated RNMH to join the Mental Health ANP team in the role of Mental Health Unscheduled Care Service (MHUCS) Charge Nurse.
Operating in a developmental role, the post-holder will be undertaking a range of duties currently undertaken by MHUCS teams. This includes, but is not limited to, aspects of MH ANP duties, operations of the Emergency Services MH Pathway, and Intensive CPN teams.
As a developmental role, this post will offer the successful candidate opportunity to learn and enhance the knowledge and skills essential to progressing into full MH ANP training.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Applicants should have experience of working with a range of mental health conditions. Additional experience of working in the community, with specific exposure to phone triage and assessment would be desirable.
Post-holder will be expected to work to a good level of autonomy within a supportive structure.
Evidence of proactive practice and working from own initiative are essential due to nature of role.

Hours: 37 hours per week
UK Driving Licence:
Car owner/driver is essential due to the potential need for undertaking assessments within both clinical and domiciliary environments.
