Teacher of French
Location: Malton, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: MPS/UPS: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum
Contract Type: Part-Time
GSL Education are looking to hire qualified and experienced MFL Teacher to work as Teacher of French at a client Secondary School near to Malton, North Yorkshire starting in September 2024. You will play a key role in inspiring students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding.

* Students are taught how to grow and succeed by many figures, including the Duke of Edinburgh, Dance Leaders, and the Extended Project Qualification.
As a Teacher of French, your responsibilities will include:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective French lessons to students across Key Stages 3, and 4.
* Focus on developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in French Language.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
* Develop and update the MFL curriculum in line with national standards and school policies.
* Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in the target language.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language teaching.
* Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSE and A-level, through effective teaching and tailored revision sessions.
Teacher of French Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching French in a secondary school setting.
* Excellent proficiency in the French language, including fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.
* Experience working with children who have a variety of disabilities and/or learning difficulties, or an eagerness to go through training.
* Build and maintain appropriate relationships with staff, students, and outside agencies.
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
