We are partnered with a privately owned care business based in Bromley who are actively recruiting for a skilled Second Line Level Support Engineer on a permanent basis Monday - Friday to operate on site and at various care homes across the South-East. The successful candidate will be support 3000 non technical users collectively as part of a tight knit team as well as working closely with project managers and external MSPs, embarking on network and telephony projects. Key responsibilities: Installing and configuring network switches and routers Setting up users\devices on VoIP system, troubleshooting hardware and software issues Installing new phone handsets, patching network switches Undertaking site surveys for data collection on infrastructure readiness for the VoIP migration Provide basic training to the customers on newly deployed systems To qualify: Experience working with structured (CAT5/6) cabling Experience installing and supporting Hosted (VOIP/SIP) telephone solutions such as 3CX, Splicecom, Yealink Experience installing and supporting network hardware such as routers and switches supplied by Draytek, Meraki Good understanding of SIP, VOIP and networking in general especially network switch and router configuration Excellent troubleshooting skills for both on premise and hosted telephony solutions Must have a UK drivers' license (Own car is NOT essential as pool cars can be provided) Hybrid working is also offered where possible after a successful probationary period.
