We are currently recruiting for a Audit Associate to join a great accounting firm based in Slough on a permanent basis. This role offers study support and experience within the audit sector. Responsibilities: Audit Planning and Execution: Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment and control testing. Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to gather audit evidence. Document audit work in accordance with firm standards and regulatory requirements. Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and address queries. Build and maintain positive client relationships. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports. Identify and report on control weaknesses and accounting discrepancies. Professional Development: Pursue professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) and stay up-to-date with relevant accounting and auditing standards. Participate in internal and external training sessions. Contribute to the team environment.
