The Deputy Security Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the contract security team, as well as implementation of site procedures at a stunning redeveloped estate, situated just a stone's throw from Hyde Park. The impressive space consists of open space, a hotel, residential, retail, and office space.

Job Requirements:
* SIA Licence required
* Experience as a security lead, manager, supervisor, or supervisor required.

Job Responsibilities:
* To efficiently manage daily operational requirements in accordance with customer expectations and contractual obligations.
* To supervise all front-of-house, public realm, and building officers to meet client expectations, ensuring a professional and welcoming service for stakeholders.
* Assist in recruiting security operatives - Address staff turnover proactively.
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the security control room, proficiently utilising Genetec, MyTAG, Cureoscity (Permit management), Traka Key Cabinets (Key management system), DataStation, and SALTO systems.
* Maintain familiarity with all life safety systems, leading and responding to emergencies promptly.
* Ensure biannual ongoing and refresher training to maintain staff competency.
* Develop and disseminate operations SOPs tailored to site requirements.
* Provide leadership and management in operations, acting as Head of Security in their absence.
* Report daily to the Head of Security, ensuring effective communication on all matters related to delivering professional security services.
* Regularly liaise with controllers, patrol officers, and front-of-house operatives.
* Maintain regular communication with property managers and customer representatives to meet service expectations.
* Ensure adequate staffing levels/trained personnel for all shifts, adjusting team positioning as necessary.
* Implement and update life safety systems training monthly, sharing updates with the customers.
* Ensure a safe working environment for all staff, addressing accidents and faults promptly.
* Deliver appropriate training, internally and externally, as per contract agreements.
* Respond to incidents promptly, managing them according to procedures.
* Collaborate with service partners & customer representatives to manage security/fire prevention effectively.
* Provide management support during emergencies.
* Attend monthly KPI meetings with property management.
* Possess experience with Timegate and CIS Business management systems.
* Participate in the senior management on-call roster as required.
* Uphold and promote customer and CIS values whilst boosting innovation within the contract.
* Set clear objectives for colleagues and monitor performance effectively - Mentor direct reports to ensure smooth succession planning.
* Manage and reduce absenteeism.
* Handle colleague grievances and investigations according to company procedures - Conduct disciplinary hearings when necessary, ensuring fairness and consistency.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan.
* Maintain high reporting standards - Provide accurate information for reporting and planning purposes.
* Administer the contract, ensuring accurate records are kept for personnel and operations.
* Oversee payroll and rectify errors promptly.
* Ensure compliance with legal, company, and contractual obligations.
* Prepare AI's, SOP's, emergency instructions, and operational orders as needed.
* Conduct biannual and annual appraisals in a timely manner.
* Investigate and report incidents or issues as instructed.
* Manage equipment usage, monitoring, and reporting in line with policies.
* Ensure efficient use and recording of supplies and consumables.
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE.
* Stay informed of policy and procedure changes by CIS Security and/or the customer.
* Fulfil any other reasonable requests from CIS Management.
