Temporary Geography Teacher – Immediate Start A highly regarded secondary school in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Temporary Teacher of Geography to join their team starting ideally ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The Role: Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, ensuring engaging and inclusive learning experiences. Plan and adapt lessons in line with the school’s curriculum, maintaining continuity for students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition during this temporary cover period. What We’re Looking For: A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience teaching Geography at the secondary level. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students. A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. The ability to adapt quickly and work effectively as part of a supportive team.
