We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the bar team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
2. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
3. Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Assist in the development of innovative drink menus that complement our food offerings.
5. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability.
6. Train and supervise staff on proper bartending techniques, customer service skills, and food safety practices.
7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
8. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in a bar management role within the hospitality or hotel industry.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
3. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
6. Culinary knowledge is advantageous but not essential; a passion for food and drink is crucial.

Pay: From £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
