Company Overview:
Our client is a well-known and respected business operating across the UK. They are currently looking for an Assistant Engineering Manager to assist in the running of the workshop and management of the team. This role offers an excellent package and progression routes for the future!
Role & Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily running of the workshop
* Manage a team of 30 engineers, technicians, and fitters
* Provide hands-on assistance to heavy vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections
* Assist the Engineering Manager with planning, liability & conformance, scheduling, and stock management
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* You must be an experienced engineer with a background in heavy vehicles
* You must have experience leading a team, either in a supervisory or team lead position
* You must be keen to learn and grow with the company, as progression is expected with time-served
Desirable:
* Experience maintaining and repairing buses
* Engineering qualifications
