The role
The role of the trainee Lamp Room Production Operative is to learn the skills required to deliver products to a high standard. Products would need to be made in a timely manner to the highest quality. Working as part of the Production Team, you will be reporting to the Production Manager or your Team Leader.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Producing all PID lamp variants, learning all the relevant processes, assembly of lamps and testing accordingly
• Monitoring gas supplies, communicating this to the team so re ordering is done in a timely manner
• Maintain lamp production information on the database
• Where necessary assist with service/ maintenance of equipment
• Stock checking
• Attend internal meetings when required
• Maintain a tidy work environment
• Working with the wider production team in other departments as required
The Person
For this role we are seeking someone with the following skills and attributes
• Excellent dexterity working with small and delicate components
• Proficient with IT and MS Office
• Astute learning skills
• Excellent Team Player and able to build a rapport with internal departments
• Possess a high initiative and excellent levels of attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills with a flexible approach and strong work ethic
