We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to support the daily operations of our social care service. The successful candidate will assist the Registered Manager in ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of care professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the service.
Ensure the highest standards of care in line with CQC regulations and company policies.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of support workers and care staff.
Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
Monitor service users' well-being and ensure their individual needs are met.
Support in recruitment, training, and staff performance management.
Manage rota planning and ensure adequate staff coverage.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and care documentation.
Handle concerns, complaints, and incidents professionally.
Promote a person-centered approach, fostering independence and dignity for service users.
Requirements:
Experience in a social care leadership or senior support role.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and health & safety.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and on-call duties if required.
NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
