Wycliffe College is seeking a Transport Manager to join our Operations Team.As Transport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our pupils and staff. From managing the College's fleet to coordinating schedules, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory compliance, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our school community.
Key Responsibilities Include:Coordinating daily school bus routes, trips, and extracurricular transport schedulesSupervising and managing drivers and transport staffOverseeing vehicle maintenance and safety checksEnsuring compliance with all transport regulations and school safeguarding policiesActing as the point of contact for parents, addressing transport-related inquiries and concernsWhat We’re Looking For:Previous experience of managing staffExcellent communication and customer service skillsA practical problem solverAbility to handle multiple tasks and maintain high standards of safety and service Terms of Appointment 37.5 hours per week, all-year-round from Monday to Friday.
