Salary Range: $85,000 to $110,000 Depending on experience

Job Summary:
The Email Marketing Strategist is a fundamental connection between marketing, admissions, the organization, and iPEC’s prospective and current audiences. This position will create more awareness through our admissions email campaigns, newsletters, webinars, special projects, and promotions. In practice, this role will impact the lives of our future customers through communication that will increase engagement with our brand, lead generation, and growth.
The Email Marketing Strategist will co-create proactive strategies with our admissions, brand messaging, and community teams to develop engaging and creative content that will be used in meaningful correspondence with prospective, current, and past students throughout the customer journey. This role is designed for an individual with an abundance of high-energy, a creative and analytical spirit, email management and CRM management background, and an ability and desire to create exciting new opportunities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Work with the E-mail Marketing Specialist and Marketing, Academics and Sales, to develop and execute workflows and email campaigns, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and engagement- and be able to contribute to bigger plans with email recommendations to achieve organizational goals.
2. Identify opportunities for developing new automation workflows, email campaigns, and assets by consistently monitoring the externally facing admissions, marketing, alumni/grad community, and organizational email strategies.
3. Coordinate with design, content, and sales teams to ensure messaging aligns with broader company goals.
4. Drive optimization of the email database in partnership with IT and Marketing into segmented lists based on customer behavior, demographics, purchase history, etc. Help strategically direct email list management to get the right audience the right message. Develop processes and monitor fatigue levels to optimize subscription numbers.
5. Work with the E-mail Marketing Specialist to create and test direct sales messaging and promotional campaigns that drive conversions. Contribute to the development of email content that can be used as growth, engagement, and nurturing tools to segmented audiences.
6. Analyze campaign performance to refine strategies and improve ROI. Report metrics on singular email sends and nurture email tracks to evaluate and measure the success of the email strategy on established goals and data collected; use data to make recommendations for improvements to the campaigns including the use of A/B testing.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in email marketing with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
* Experience in email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.
* Proven track record of developing successful email marketing strategies to drive measurable results.
* Hands on experience with advanced segmentation and A/B testing.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
* Project management skills with the ability to manage complex campaigns simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Skills Needed:
* Deep understanding of Hubspot email marketing platforms (experience with Infusionsoft a plus).
* Knowledge of list segmentation strategies, A/B testing, and personalization techniques.
* Ability to develop targeted email campaigns based on customer behaviors and preferences.
* Analytical skills to interpret email campaign data and optimize for better performance.
* Strong writing skills for crafting compelling sales messages and subject lines.
