In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a positive culture, and providing exceptional leadership to your team.

What You’ll Do Lead by Example : Manage every aspect of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are consistently maintained.
Inspire Your Team : Lead, supervise, and develop a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and motivated working environment.
Care Planning : Create and implement individual care plans and risk assessments tailored to each child’s needs and aspirations.
Collaborate : Build strong relationships with children, families, external agencies, and professionals, ensuring seamless communication and effective care delivery.
Stay Compliant : Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding protocols.
Manage Resources : Oversee budgets, resources, and administrative processes to run a smooth and efficient service.
Drive Improvement : Monitor service delivery, implement improvements, and promote an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated.
What We’re Looking For Experience : Proven track record as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential home.
Qualifications : Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or working towards it.
Knowledge : Strong understanding of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and childcare best practices.
Skills : Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Commitment : A genuine passion for safeguarding and improving the welfare of children and young people.
Other Requirements : Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
