We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Year Teacher to join an Early Years team at a school in Norfolk. The successful candidate will provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of their youngest learners. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the foundation of children's education. This role begins March 2025. Reception Year Teacher duties: Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Foster children's early literacy, numeracy, and social skills through play-based learning. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and reports. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and other staff to support each child's development. Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among children. Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils at all times. Ideal Reception Year Teacher: A degree in Education or a related subject. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching in Early Years or Reception. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
