About the Role:
As MICE Director of Sales, you'll play a pivotal role in driving meetings and events revenue across the portfolio. You will lead the group's MICE strategy, managing key accounts, nurturing agency relationships, and inspiring on-property sales teams to exceed targets. This is a national role requiring commercial acumen, hands-on leadership, and deep industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a strategic MICE sales plan to maximise revenue across all properties.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event planners.
* Lead, motivate, and support property-based sales teams to achieve group targets.
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
* Represent the brand at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.
* Collaborate with marketing to shape targeted campaigns and communications.
MICE Sales Director Requirements
* Proven track record in senior MICE sales roles within quality hotel or hospitality groups.
* Strong commercial focus with a results-driven approach to business development.
* Established network of UK and international MICE clients and agency contacts.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Flexible, self-motivated and happy to travel as needed.
