In a typical day, you will drive and manage continuous improvement initiatives within SGT Service by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business processes. You will work with managers to meet market needs and align operations with business requirements, leading to improved long-term planning. Your role includes managing and enhancing SAP solutions while training the team to build their expertise. You will focus on achieving annual financial targets, ensuring an on-time delivery (OTD) rate of over 95% and competitive lead times. Additionally, you will engage in cross-site collaboration to optimise processes and improve business transparency through digital dashboards and effective SAP governance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* GAP/Opportunities Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis to identify and manage improvement initiatives across the Planning Team, focusing on areas such as order acknowledgement, on-time delivery (OTD), backlog management, customer repairs, logistics forecasting, inventory transparency, and production processes.
* Cross-Functional Improvement Initiatives: Deliver targeted improvement initiatives within SAP that encompass Supply Make (Manufacturing, Engineering, Production), Supply Buy (Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse), Demand Service (Sales & Projects), and Product Life Management (Master Data) for all service plants.
* SAP Advanced Key User Role: Serve as the SAP Advanced Key User to enhance business efficiency by leveraging SAP’s technical capabilities, improving master data management, and clarifying primary and secondary systems.
* Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Control and monitor processes while fostering clear communication with stakeholders and interface partners, utilising KPIs, lessons learned, root cause analysis, and dashboards to enhance business transparency.
* SAP Process Documentation: Create end-to-end SAP process documentation and user guides, ensuring governance control and providing training for key personnel to enhance capability and maintain ERP compliance and integrity.
* Performance Measurement: Focus on optimising the supply chain through quality tools such as lean methodology, setting individual process development targets, and tracking performance delivery KPIs to improve the speed of critical parts to customers and enhance market presence.
