An exciting opportunity is here to be part of an EXPANDING team, of a highly regarded global luxury fashion designer brand. This new role will be integral in ensuring smooth communication and coordination between the store and online teams, optimising the customer experience both in-store and online, based in their Harrods concession.
Our client has an outstanding reputation in the luxury fashion/lifestyle industry to uphold for their elegant timeless designs and craftsmanship, whose regular clientele are UHNW, celebrities, and royalty.
As a Retail Operations and E-commerce Coordinator, you will be reporting into the Concession Manager and Assistant Manager and part of a team of 5 Sales Consultants and play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service both in-store and online.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for managing customer transactions, assisting with product inquiries, and ensuring smooth coordination between the retail and e-commerce teams.
2. Process customer transactions on the sales floor efficiently and accurately.
3. Handle cashier responsibilities, including setting up the cash register and closing procedures, ensuring smooth transactions and accurate end-of-day reporting.
4. Provide exceptional service, assisting clients with inquiries, returns, and exchanges.
5. Support the retail team in maintaining an organised and visually appealing sales floor.
6. Collaborate with the e-commerce team to manage online orders and ensure timely fulfilment.
7. Coordinate online returns and exchanges to ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Manage stock flow between retail and e-commerce, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
9. Process orders and payments through both in-store and online systems, following company policies.
10. Assist with product recommendations and styling requests for clients, both in-store and online.
11. Communicate product availability with the e-commerce team and support promotional campaigns.
12. Assist with operational tasks, including stock replenishment and store opening/closing procedures.
Ideal Candidate:
1. 2 years’ experience in luxury / premium retail and e-commerce.
2. 1+ years’ experience within a luxury fashion sales team.
3. Experience with stock inventory management and back of house operations.
4. Experience in cashier duties, including handling transactions, processing payments, and maintaining accurate end-of-day reporting.
5. Strong Excel skills with experience using inventory and system tools.
6. Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
7. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
8. Highly motivated with a proactive attitude.
9. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective professional relationships.
10. Well-groomed with a polished, formal aesthetic.
11. Full flexibility and availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
