We are looking to hire a professional to join our close-knit team in our independent restaurant based in the heart of the Norwich lanes.
The responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
1. Waiting tables, taking orders and taking payments
2. Managing the flow of customers and turning of tables
3. Supervising a small FoH team including Barista, Runner and other waitstaff
4. Managing customer expectations, receiving feedback and resolving any issues
5. Running food, clearing tables and setting places
6. Cleaning and maintaining a pristine working environment
7. Other associated and assorted needs for the running of a small restaurant
An ideal candidate would include all of the following:
1. At least 5 years hospitality and catering experience, 2 of which in a supervisory role
2. Flexibility in availability and working responsibilities
3. Barista training
4. Experience in non-FoH hospitality roles (cheffing, kitchen porter, barista etc)
5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage unexpected situations
6. A desire to be a part of a growing business with lots of room to expand
