Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and dedicated pharmacist to take on this newly created role in Multiple Sclerosis and as Pharmacy Lead for the Neurology Day Case Unit at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust. The primary role of this specialist post is to lead on the management and provision of a comprehensive, high quality pharmacy service for to the Neurology Day Case Unit, as well as being the specialist pharmacist for Multiple Sclerosis and leading on the provision of care for those patients within the organisation. This post holder will be an integral part of the Pharmacy Neurology team and work closely with our Senior Neurology and Stroke pharmacists and as such will have a responsibility within that wider team. This will include utilising (or working towards) an Independent Prescribing qualification to provide pharmaceutical care for those patients. Lead on the provision of medicines for Neurology Day Case Unit including all aspects of medicines management for that clinical area. Work within the pharmacy team for Neurology, Neurosurgery and Stroke, and as such will have a responsibility within that wider team.
