Role Overview:
As a Cash Management Specialist within the Market Management and Commercialisation team, you will be a key part of Bank of America’s GPS capabilities. Payments and Receipts enables our clients to operate an efficient treasury. Bank of America offers extensive services to help companies make and receive domestic, cross-border, cross-currency payments and real-time payments quickly and securely.
This team is comprised of experienced product managers who are engaged in individual client opportunities and many marketing activities. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and communications partners to influence and sell cash management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Deal solutioning and request for proposal assistance for complex integrations:
o Provide leadership and advisory on complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for client treasury solutions.
o Review and advise Sales and the Proposal Team on Request for Information (RFI)/RFP responses.
o Partner with Sales to produce and deliver RFP presentations.
2. Provide in-depth technical integration expertise to support new client opportunities and key existing relationships:
o Deliver technical and business process expertise to help clients select the right solutions and integrate with Bank of America’s treasury capabilities.
o Bridge the gap between business mandate and implementation engagement to improve onboarding and client experience.
o Provide pre-implementation solution consultation and support including ERP/TMS and channel integration.
o Assist with data transmission and security discussions.
3. Client advisory including treasury best practices, trends and thought leadership:
o Advise on technology trends and adoption related to treasury cash management, BofA capabilities, and emerging payment technologies.
o Provide expertise on market partnership and solutions (SWIFT GPI, MyStandards, SWIFT Customer Security Programme).
o Accelerate revenue generation by providing advanced subject matter expertise in presale, onboarding, and optimization phases of the client experience with Treasury Services.
o Lead continuing education to clients and client teams on industry digital enhancements and product capabilities.
o Participate in product planning sessions and enhancement roadmap discussions by providing voice of the client feedback.
o Maintain active interest in treasury innovation, market and competitor developments, and new technologies.
4. What we are looking for:
o Strong knowledge of the GPS business and conversant in payment services across a broad range of industry sectors to become a trusted advisor to our clients.
o Familiarity with Treasury Services/GPS particularly payments and receivables management.
o Breadth of understanding of the business challenges facing the bank’s clients, as they relate to core treasury capabilities.
o Strong grasp of critical principles of risk management, compliance, and fraud as well as product management experience.
o Proven track record of executing on revenue growth plans within a highly complex, matrixed organization.
o Strong influencing skills and a strong network of professional relationships within the industry.
o Working knowledge of new industry initiatives and FinTech development.
o Hands-on; highly energetic salesperson with drive and enthusiasm; someone who is driven by challenges and results-oriented.
o Highly motivated and tenacious; perseverant and resilient in pursuing objectives and overcoming challenges.
