Duties of the Occupational Therapist:
* You will manage your own diary and work from home except for the time when you need to visit clients in their homes, allowing flexibility with your working hours.
* You will identify eligible needs and provide clients with information and advice, making recommendations for the provision of equipment and adaptations to promote well-being and independence in accordance with the Care Act 2014.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
* Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
* Recent NHS experience
* Registered with the HCPC
* Good working knowledge of minor OT equipment
* Some knowledge of adaptations is advantageous
* 2 years’ experience or more in a social care setting
* Minor adaptation experience is advantageous
