Job Title: Commercial Account Handler/Trainee Account Executive

Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 + package

An experienced Commercial Account Handler is required at my client's family-run insurance brokerage to support the growth of the commercial team. The role will see you assisting the Account Handling department while being trained to become an Account Executive.
Your Role:
1. You will be responsible for servicing client accounts with a particular focus on the renewal process.
2. You will liaise with client decision makers as well as the insurer market to negotiate favourable terms for all concerned to secure client retention.
3. The role will require you to prepare presentations for insurers and clients as well as relevant paperwork and reports.
4. The mix of administrative duties as well as interaction with clients and suppliers means no two days are the same in this role.
5. There is a clear development plan to train you to become an Account Executive within 2 years.
You:
1. You will demonstrate experience of an account handling role, preferably gained within a commercial insurance environment.
2. You will have a client-centric approach coupled with an eye for detail and strong communication skills.
3. Insurance qualification or work towards are preferred.
4. A degree would be very beneficial.
5. GCSE 5-9 would also be beneficial.
