The Role
Preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns for our more complex clients
Liaising with HMRC regarding client's tax affairs
Liaising with clients regarding their UK tax returns
Preparing advisory reports for internal review
Researching technical queries
Assist with any digital tax disclosures required
Prepare and review Capital Gains Tax calculations and returns
Being a point of contact for tax queries for the wider team
Training more junior members of staff

About You
You will have at least 2 years' experience of dealing with UK taxes
A familiarity with basic accounting principles & financial statements is desirable
University degree or 3 good A-Level results (or equivalent)
Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment
Team player
Confident, positive, professional and can-do attitude
Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages quickly
Create a positive impression with clients and staff
Strong attention to detail
A proactive approach
Enjoy developing junior staff
