Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, friendly, and dynamic individual to join our Profession Education team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The main purpose of this role is to provide professional and comprehensive administration support for the Education, Learning and Development Service which will in turn support education provision organisation wide. The role will be broad and varied with the purpose to support the development of a highly motivated, skilled and engaged workforce, both present and future, by supporting the implementation and ongoing management of initiatives. You will play a vital role in continually improving the experience learners have within our organisation.
The post holder will be supported and trained by experienced administrative staff and work closely with the Corporate Education Business Manager. This individual will report directly to the Corporate Education Business Manager, but will work closely with the wider Professional Education team in ensuring the day-to-day deliverables are met.
Main duties of the job
Deliver a high standard of Customer Service
Administrative support to ensure the continued efficiency of the department
Working in Microsoft access and excel
Managing email correspondence
Working with professional education leads and workforce teams, collating and recording of student placement hours on trust systems ( Healthroster, Employee Staff Records etc.).
Pulling reports and supporting the upload of data to regional and national systems related to student placement hours, ensuring that data is accurate.
Pulling reports from university systems, to ensure local recording of student placement allocations and dates, to support the review of student capacity.
Updating and maintaining local databases for student IT access and passing information of log in details to placement managers, in line with data protection and information governance.
Recording of training registers and pulling reports from Employee Staff Records.
Maintaining records related to student capacity management for Gloucestershire Hospitals Trust across a variety of professions and training pathways.
Provide administrative support across ELD services, supporting colleagues and providing a high-quality interface between the department and its service users.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
1. GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above, or equivalent
2. NVQ level 2 Business and Administration or equivalent

3. ECDL or equivalent including basic knowledge of all MS Office packages - including Microsoft Office calendar for diary management

4. Relevant experience of working in a general administrative background
5. Experience of working effectively with others and service users
