Art Teacher Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, dynamic Art lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
* Differentiate your teaching to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of all students
* Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and support
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment with effective behaviour management
* Contribute to the development of the department’s curriculum and lesson planning
* Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities such as art exhibitions, events, and workshops
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A deep passion for Art and creativity, with expertise in a variety of artistic disciplines
* The ability to engage, inspire, and challenge students of all abilities
* Excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure the smooth running of lessons and the department
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Previous experience teaching Art at the secondary level
