Engage with various stakeholders, internally and externally, and represent Pobl in the sustainability community, staying on top of new trends and regulations. Where does this role fit in? As part of the Corporate Finance & Sustainability team, you’ll be the go-to person for all sustainability-related activities across the Group. You’ll lead sustainability reporting, ensuring our impact is visible, measurable, and communicated effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Your role will be pivotal in collaborating with teams to embed sustainability across all decision-making processes and support the development of tools that quantify environmental, social, and economic impacts. You will also manage a small team, including a Sustainability Reporting Officer, to drive forward our environmental and social value agenda. What skills and experience do you need? To be successful in this role, you will need a solid track record of managing and delivering multiple projects at once, with a strong ability to analyse data and present clear, impactful insights. Experience in sustainability reporting, including carbon and social value metrics, is essential. You'll need to be a confident communicator, capable of engaging with a range of stakeholders and comfortable challenging data accuracy when needed. Strong project management skills are key, along with an eye for detail and the ability to drive sustainable behaviours within the organisation. Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks, such as the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing, is important, as is knowledge of carbon reporting and environmental impact assessments. Ideally, you will hold a recognised sustainability qualification and be highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A self-motivated, adaptable team player with a practical mindset and a 'can-do' attitude will thrive in this role. What are the pay and benefits? The salary for this role is £55,594 for a 37-hour, full time, permanent position Agile working with location flexibility.
