I am delighted to be representing a global FMCG company as they recruit for a Category Specialist to join their Edinburgh procurement team. This is a 5-month FTC position with the team, and they are looking for someone who can start ASAP.
Your new role
Responsibilities:
1. Contract management for direct procurement
2. Monitoring KPIs and SLAs
3. Supplier relationship management
4. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
5. Providing forecasts and business reports
6. Data gathering and analytics
7. Forecasting
What you'll need to succeed
Skills and Attributes:
1. Experience with direct procurement (packaging, raw materials etc.)
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Knowledge of contract management
4. Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
5. Quick thinker with an analytical mind
6. Able to work effectively as part of a team
