About the Role:
Our client, a well-established further education college based in Cambridge, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospitality Quality Assurer to join their dynamic team. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone with a passion for maintaining high standards within the hospitality industry. As part of their team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that hospitality students receive the best possible training and that courses meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of hospitality courses and training materials, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
* Observe and assess students during practical assessments and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills and performance.
* Work closely with the hospitality teaching team to monitor and enhance the delivery of lessons, practical sessions, and assessments.
* Support the development of course content to ensure it is up-to-date with current industry trends and best practices.
* Liaise with industry partners and external quality assurance bodies to ensure the college’s hospitality programs meet regulatory standards.
* Provide regular reports on quality assurance activities, highlighting areas of improvement and making recommendations for development.
* Assist in the recruitment and induction of new hospitality staff, ensuring they meet the college’s high-quality standards.
About You:

* Proven experience in the hospitality industry (e.g., hotel management, catering, or event planning).
* A strong understanding of quality assurance processes and industry standards.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

* Ideally, experience working within the education sector or training environment.
