Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Manager to work onsite within a small production/manufacturing company.
Duties:
1. Lead and support the development and implementation of the Group Health, Safety & Environment Management (HSE) System in line with company expectations.
2. Ensure HSE requirements for the company's sites/businesses including development of local and group policies and procedures.
3. Maintain records and work with designated departments as appropriate.
4. Support timely Accident/Incident and Good Save reporting, escalation, investigation, and closure.
5. Support the project management of Group initiatives and projects.
6. Collate and report data and input to management and key stakeholders including for monthly performance meetings and reports.
7. Support the businesses with regulatory compliance and certification including audits/inspections, responses, and corrective action plans.
8. Deliver relevant training requirements.
Skills / Qualifications:
1. Must have 2 years plus experience within a similar role and demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment.
2. Relevant qualification in HSE e.g. NEBOSH and IOSH Certificate.
3. Good working knowledge of HSE legislation within a manufacturing environment.
4. Auditor Certified (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 or equivalent) desirable.
5. Experience of auditing and compliance assessment processes desirable.
