Hays is working with a rapidly growing business in Telford who are looking for a Logistics Administrator on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a brilliantpany who thoroughly look after their staff.
Your new role
As a Logistics Administrator, your role will be to manage the day-to-day coordination of customer journey. Your duties will include:
1. Oversee the day to day coordination of all logistics administration.
2. Maintain Schedules.
3. Manage regular collections and ad-hoc collections from Customer sites (working closely with the stores/logistics co-ordinator).
4. Expedite urgent repairs as and when notified by the customer.
5. Provide professional and courteous telephone support.
6. Produce and maintain documentation via Sage, and MS office 365 applications.
7. Liaise with internal departments, customers, and supply chain against the planned schedule.
8. Gain and progress customer invoice approval.
9. Travel betweenpany sites and Customer sites when required.
10. Attend regular production meetings, providing an overall status update of fixtures. .
11. Work within thepanies Health and Safety procedures at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
12. Provide professional and courteous telephone support.
13. Excellentmunication Skills – verbal and written.
14. Liaising between internal staff, customers, and supply chain.
15. Including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Sage and our own IMS system.
16. Experience with working in an agile, fast-paced, environment and the ability to lead and adapt in a changing business environment.
17. Willing to travel between Torus sites and Customer sites when required.
18. Minimum HNC/ONC or equivalent with proven experience working in a similar role.
19. Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment would be beneficial.
