Position Overview
The Logistics Manager coordinates the warehouse and logistics operations in the Republic of Kazakhstan and is responsible for the successful distribution of the company's products and makes every effort to ensure that patients receive therapy on time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervision of the logistics operations (including customs clearance, import operations and inbound logistics) on the market.
2. Budget management for the market.
3. Logistics service provider selection, validation and audit.
4. Building processes and monitoring the company's warehouse operations. Participation in the launch of the integration between ERP and WMS.
5. Implementation of control over document flow for incoming and outgoing operations with medicines in the company's warehouse.
6. Work distribution among the company's warehouse employees. Supervision of 1 direct report.
7. Monitoring the work of employees of the company's warehouse for goods acceptance, proper placement, storage distribution of the goods.
8. Coordination of the work of employees of the company's warehouse on the rational movement of incoming and shipped goods.
9. Organization of strict adherence to internal labor regulations, fire safety and labor protection.
10. Bringing to the employees the content of documents regulating pharmaceutical activities, orders, instructions governing their activities, as well as other necessary information.
11. Organization and conduct of planned and unscheduled stock counts of the inventory.
12. Ensuring compliance with the established rules for the stock count of the inventory.
13. Systematic trainings to improve qualification, enhancement, and optimization of the management style & methods.
14. Ensuring the timely and reliable execution of all provided reporting and other working documentation.
15. Guided in his/her work with regulatory documents, standards and established in the Company.
16. Oversee the development and continues improvement of appropriate third-party logistics service provider and interfaces.
17. Monitors LSP operational performance against agreed service levels and implement required corrective actions when deviations occur keeping the focus on maintaining customers satisfaction.
18. Implement distribution solutions to address specific needs and challenges of the business units.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Specialty: Higher Pharmaceutical Education, work experience as the head of the pharmacy warehouse for at least three years.
2. Legislative and other regulatory legal acts on pharmaceutical activities.
3. Legislative and other legal acts, provisions, instructions, other local regulatory acts governing the accounting and financial activities of the Company.
4. English is a must.
5. SAP knowledge is a plus.
