Senior Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: £25,015.20 - £27,302.30 (FTE £29,120.00 - £31,782.40) ...
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Term-Time Only

Key Responsibilities:
1. Offer tailored support to students, helping them achieve their academic and personal milestones.
2. Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons with teaching staff.
3. Build positive and trusting relationships with students, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
4. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage development.
5. Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare, adhering to all relevant school policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
6. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
7. GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or 4 and above).
8. Experience working with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD is highly preferred.
9. Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
10. Ability to manage challenging behaviours and create an inclusive learning environment.
