Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated individual with good communication, administrative and organisational skills to support the administrative systems required to run the Outpatient Occupational Therapy Neurological Rehabilitation Service. The role includes working with adults who have a neurological diagnosis to provide rehabilitation interventions under the guidance of the Occupational Therapists.
Main Duties of the Job
* Work closely with staff in a small, friendly team to help organise patient appointments and follow-ups.
* Send out and put together patient treatment resource packs.
* Input departmental data, logging employee changes, and assist with waiting list administration.
* Order equipment, tidy and clean treatment rooms, monitor stock, and arrange for equipment repairs or replacements.
* Assist patients with arm activities to improve their arm function, both individually and in groups.
* Conduct telephone patient follow-ups and assist with outpatient groups such as relaxation or art/creative groups.
* Practice functional activities with patients, including cooking and using aids for dressing.
* Training, support, and regular supervision will be provided.

Education / Qualifications
* Good written English
* Proven educational standard to GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Advanced IT skills
Experience
* Experience of working autonomously
* Experience of working with people in a health or care setting
* Experience of working with people with disabilities

* Able to maintain records relating to patients, equipment, and supplies
* Experience of working in a team
