An exciting role has arisen for a strong, client-focused candidate to join our dedicated buy-to-let lender, Zephyr, in this field-based role, within the Sales, Product and Marketing Team.
This is a home-based role with travel required to mortgage broker offices and mortgage industry events and will be prominent in covering the North West to North Wales.

We generate new Buy to Let mortgage applications from mortgage broker relationships.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role forms part of a wider Sales & Marketing team who are accountable for the development and commercial arrangements with Brokers and other relevant Distribution Networks and Mortgage Clubs.
This is a senior role with a focus on generating agreed volumes of new mortgage business. Having an extensive knowledge of the Buy to Let mortgage market, the successful candidate will be responsible for building high-quality commercial relationships with Brokers, Mortgage Clubs, Networks, and Packagers across the UK. Providing feedback to the Product Development team to ensure that opportunities are identified to enhance the offering to market and collaborating with the Marketing team regarding opportunities to improve broker communications and marketing collateral.
Other Key Accountabilities
* Drive and achieve mortgage application and completion targets to achieve the regional sales target
* Maximise business opportunities with mortgage brokers
* Maintain panel appointment with a number of networks and mortgage clubs, ensuring that marketing opportunities are maximised
* Build effective internal working relationships with key stakeholders to deliver business targets
Skills, Experience & Competencies
We’re looking for a self-starter, ideally someone with an understanding of the Buy to Let market and of mortgage brokers/intermediaries in the UK, who’s comfortable with generating new business.
A clear understanding of the value proposition of the brand and how best to position this for maximum impact with the clients.
Highly developed interpersonal skills are required including strong influencing ability to manage stakeholders and apply commercial creativity to problems encountered day to day in order to build long-term business relationships.
Capable of working in a closely knit team whilst also being a natural hunter/closer of new business opportunities.
You’ll need to quickly get up to speed with the very specialised nature of our product and marketplace, comfortable dealing with all levels of stakeholders, and proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel, along with a natural aptitude for building and managing relationships.
Other requirements:
* Ability to develop, manage and implement marketing strategy and sales plans
* Advanced literacy and numeracy skills are needed to ensure excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation.
* Analytic ability
* Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) – capability to produce high-quality written documentation, presentation slides, and project plans
